Depends on where you were raised,whether you like NY or Chicago Style pizza.
Born and raised in Chicago, I prefer Chicago's Deep Pan Stuffed Pizza .
Although I never met a pizza I didn't like .

It's been years ago that my hudband and I would spend a whole saturday making dough, cutting vegetables and cooking sauce to make homemade pizza. Had to invite all our family and friends over for pizza and poker night. Would make at least 10 or 12 cookie sheet size different pizzas. Even had some oysters in my frig that my brother pulled out and made a oyster pizza. He, my husband and several other of the guys said it was the best. :-) After all the pizzas were gone we would gather around the table for some good friendly penny-ante poker. Might need to start that tradition up again!

I guess its time to whip out my rolling pin. I never actually made a home made pie but now is as good a time as any. Probably going to be something with a light garlic sauce...

I have to say the best Sicilian pie I have had is the one my grandmother made. The second best Sicilian pie I have had is from L&B's Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn, NY.

My favorite Pizza place is in Italy, in my home town Pollena Trocchia (NA)

The restaurant is called "Miseria e Nobilta" and they make the best pizza.

In Italy, my favorite pizza so far is from "Ristorante Gigino" aka."Pizza ai Metri" The pizza is literally sold "by the meter". It is in the town of Vico Equense which is on the coast about halfway between Sorrento & Pompeii. If you ever have plans to visit Pompeii, make sure you have lunch or dinner (pranzo o cena) at Pizza ai Metri.It is a short distance from either Sorrento or Pompeii via the Circumvesuviana which is the local railroad which originates in Naples.
