Smoked Tuna and Burrata

Description

This is not exactly a Roman recipe but blends well a Sicilian specialty "Smoked Tuna" and a magnificient product from Puglia: "Burrata" which is now appreciated around the world.

  • 6 Friselle or slices of hard Italian bread
  • 6 Slices of Smoked Tuna
  • 1 Lb - Burrata
  • 2 Cucumbers
  • Fresh black pepper

Directions/Steps
  • Place a generous slice of smoked tuna over either a frisella or a slice of hardened Italian bread.
  • Cover the tuna with a slice of burrata and its creamy juices.
  • Add two slices of cucumber for crispiness.
  • Sprinkle fresh black pepper.
