Description

These olives are a great accompaniment for just about any occasion. Jazzed up olives are a nice side dish or they can be served in a greek or pasta salad. Any way you enjoy them, grilling adds that something special that brings out their robust flavor!

Ingredients
  • 2 cup olives, your favorite varieties
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 quartered garlic cloves
  • Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Additional Tips

Heavy duty foil is recommended for a more secure package. I use large tongs with rubber tips to flip the olives so that it doesn't tear through. Once you've tried these olives, you won't want deli olives any more. They could, also, be baked in the oven the same way. I would use a baking sheet under the foil to prevent spillage.

These seasoned olives are delicious grilled or baked. We eat them with some good Italian bread.
