Description

Lasagna with Three Cheeses... the Queen of the Italian Cuisine. Watch the Video of Rossella and Nonna Rina as they make this delicious Lasagna.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 Lb - Lasagna Pasta
  • 6 Cups - Peeled tomatoes
  • 2 Tsp - Tomato paste
  • 1/2 Lb - Ground beef
  • 1/2 Lb - Ground veal
  • 1/2 Lb - Italian pork sausage removed from the casing
  • 1 Large onion
  • 1 Large shallot
  • 5 Cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 Lb - Mozzarella
  • 1 Lb - Ricotta
  • Grated Parmigiano
  • 1/2 Stick - Butter
  • 2 Chicken or beef broth cubes
  • 1 Tsp - Hot pepper
  • 2 Tsp - Fresh parsley
  • 3 leaves - Fresh basil
  • EV olive oil

It's the same recipe I learned from my mother. I have been making it for 45 years , it's always a "winner".If I would have 100 dishes to choose from , I would make that my best go to.Everyone loves it!!!!!

I am just making this right now. Looks great, but I am confused as to wear the beef or chicken bullion comes in. It is listed in the ingredients but don't see it in the directions.

I assume you add the broth into the tomato sauce
