I love this recipe. This was one of my cousin Laura’s. She loved to bake when we were teenagers and bread was one of her favorite things to make. I had completely forgotten about this wonderful recipe until I was searching through my tin file for something to make for Sweet Taste of Saturday. Your family will love this sweet, dense treat. The sugar and cinnamon bake throughout the bread and make a slightly crunching sweet crust! Nothing better than a slice of this in the morning with a nice hot cup of tea or coffee.
