I have been searching for years for an Italian sweet bread that my Godmother from Italy used to make...It may be a regional recipe from there. I think she called it Oxcenti, or similar name. It was sweet bread that had an almond flavor with sugar on the top. It was a round oblong .type roll about 5 inches long and was sort of a flakey texture...I have been searching for years for an Italian sweet bread that my Godmother from Italy used to make...It may be a regional recipe from there.
