That is romantic!

Photos taken moments after my parents were married. These are my favorite photos of their wedding. The kiss at the back of the church is so romantic. My parents are Joan Follina & Marion Brancato, married on April 5, 1956. They are both still alive and will celebrate their 62nd anniversary this year.

what an awesome provenance

and one more.... A great lady and a Mulberry street legend... my bisnonna's sister in law Anna Maria Cornacchia-Gifoli on her wedding day. She never was able to have kids but was a nonna to all that new her. Her husband Crestino Gifoli was from Serramezzano. Wedding. June 6 1926 - Geraldo Maffea and Irene Trezza as witnesses. Also my Grandmother Filomena is that CUTE little girl.

They look so happy.

My Paternal Nonna Filomena Cornacchia on her Wedding Day in 1942. Also in the photo are Antonio Maringola, Virginia Puzzo, and Alfredo Maringola. The Maringolas were from Corigliano Calabro, Calabria and the Cornacchia's from Monteleone di puglia/Mercogliano, avellino.

This photo is of my Nonna Julia and my grandfather Louis Fiore married in December 1928, in Brooklyn, NY. Nonna Julia's family is from Catanzaro,Calabria and grandpa Louis's family is from Caserta, Campania. (my mom's parents)
