Tis the season for the traditional Italian sweet bread, and fruitcake known as panettone. It is said that panettone originated in Milan. The word panettone derives from panetto, a small loaf of bread. Suffix -one translates the word to big bread!

Typical additions include citron, candied orange, raisins and much more. This season Nonna and I curated a plethora of panettoni ranging in flavors as well as gluten free variations. We have tiny samples, mini tins, and a whole line of beverage-themed flavors including the beloved Aperol Spritz. The ornate packaging makes the panettoni the perfect Christmas gift this season.
