I grew up in coastal North Carolina. My parents, both with Italian heritage, owned and operated an Italian Restaurant. My father's parents (Marino/Vocisano) were from the Calabria region. My mother's parents (both Cannarella) were from Siracusa, Sicily I am a retired teacher, married with 3 adult children and 2 granddaughters.
