Cannoli Cookie Bars

Everyone's favorite cannoli collides with a decadent cookie bar in this celebratory treat.

Cannoli Cookie Bars

For the cookie bars

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pistachio, chopped
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 1 Cannoli Candy Bar


  1. Get the ingredients needed for this recipe HERE
  2. Spray a square baking pan with baking spray.
  3. Cream 1/2 cup softened butter, add in sugars and cream again until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla. Mix again. 
  4. Combine flour, baking soda and salt, then add to the butter mixture. Once all combined, fold in chocolate chips, maraschino cherries, orange zest, and pistachio. 
  5. Spread cookie dough into the bottom of the pan. Dough will spread as it cooks to fill in any gaps. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
  6. While cookie bars are baking, break the Cannoli Candy Bar into pieces and place in the freezer. 
  7. Remove pan from oven and carefully place candy bar pieces on top. Let cool completely before cutting.
